Tatra has provided the Czech army with further new TATRA FORCE vehicles

On 23 March the Material Centre in Štěpánov received additional 18 TATRA FORCE vehicles, manufactured by the automotive company TATRA TRUCKS.

The handover of 18 TATRA FORCE was attended by Tomáš Kuchta, Deputy Minister of Defence and Head of the Industrial Cooperation and Organisations Management Division, Major General Jaromír Zůna, Director of the Division of Support of Ministry of Defence, and on behalf of TATRA TRUCKS, the Sales Director David Pipal and Karel Ritschel, Director - Defence Programs. This delivery of 18 vehicles is part of the army program to unify chassis platforms in the Army of the Czech Republic and further development of their transport capacities. The newly delivered Tatra vehicles have the configuration 6x6 and are designed to transport troops (the capacity is 3 plus 22 persons) or cargo of various types on both reinforced roads and rough terrain. A majority of them will be used by the 143rd Supply Battalion in Lipník nad Bečvou.

The supplies of Tatra vehicles for the Czech army will continue in the future. At the end of last year, TATRA TRUCKS supplied 26 TATRA TACTIC vehicles to the army several months ahead of schedule. This year 112 Tatra vehicles of several types are to be delivered, including heavy duty container carriers, fuel fillers, recovery vehicles, mobile workshops and vehicles for transporting PRAM mortars.
